The Novaspan company has designed and installed Geodesic dome structures of which there are various designs using geodesic patches if triangular and pentagonal shape.

Another simplified design is the Lamella style dome having a series of circles (latitude) with triangulated webbing to separate them.

Geodesic domes are very light weight structures having
a single plate or skin construction.
