Nova-Span have designed and installed skylighting and overhead glazing systems for over 30 years, using acrylic, polycarbonate and safety glass panels. More recently the trend has been towards the installation of safety glass which has the advantage of indefinite longevity and maintained easily.

Glass panels are sized with respect to the relevant Australian Standards and Building codes and can be fixed into the Nova-Span aluminium glazing bar suite or attached to Structural Spider fittings manufactured from Stainless Steel. These spider fixings provide an open continuous effect with the glass panels abutted with a silicone rubber sealant jointing.

Spider fixings are available in a range of sizes and finishes. The most popular finishes are polished or satin stainless steel. The spider fixing can be supplied made from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel.

Glass panels can be clear, solar tinted or printed with colour effects such as dots, stripes or checker board design to provide a rate of shading with some design flair.
